Feed the fasting this ramadan

Feeding the needy is highly rewarded in Islam – especially during the holy month of Ramadan.

During Ramadan, the spirit of unity envelops families and communities, drawing them closer together through congregational prayers, mosque visits, and the shared blessings of suhoor and iftar meals. This month serves as a reminder to unite and spread the abundance of blessings it brings.

However, what if this unity and abundance were not available?

Across the globe, millions lack access to food and drink, even outside of Ramadan. This reality underscores the urgency of our mission. At the Human Development Foundation (GHDF), we aspire to reach out to as many families as possible during this sacred month, ensuring they have sustenance for suhoor and iftar. Our faith teaches us that wealth is not for hoarding but for sharing with those in need. What value does wealth hold if our fellow beings are starving?

Famine persists as a pressing issue today. Let us seize the opportunity of Ramadan to support GHDF in providing nourishment to the fasting wherever possible. Who knows if this chance will come again?
